seya. Patagonia Pottery, Straight Side Bowl
Patagonia's amazing hand-made pottery. The beautiful colors are created by the reaction between the metal elements in the glaze and the surrounding air. The glaze itself is made from Patagonian mountain soil, which is left to ferment for two to three months. This raku technique was first used by a Japanese woman who traveled to Patagonia in the 1970s, and it has since been passed down to her disciples.
Due to the delicate nature of handmade ceramics, all art pieces shipped are final sale. Please contact us if you have questions about the piece before purchasing.
